The Crooklands Hotel, Bar & Restaurant is an AA 3-star accredited establishment and has earned the Gold Award from The Green Tourism board for 4 years in a row.

This family-run hotel is situated just four miles south of the market town of Kendal and just one mile South of the M6 junction, making a great location for visiting both the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales.

HOW WE HELPED

Before we started providing waste services to the hotel, they had two different companies collecting their recycling and general waste and had become frustrated by varying prices. At the outset we confirmed that our charges would be fixed so the hotel would know exactly what their waste costs would be each year.

We offered a ‘one-stop shop’ approach with bins for general, card & paper and co-mingled waste being provided, with the emphasis on recycling and recovering as much of the hotel’s waste as possible.

The hotel was also allocated a dedicated account manager, who was available to meet when requested and handle any queries.
