Recycling Helpline

The Helpline is operated on behalf of Cumbria County Council to provide members of public in Cumbria with access to information and help they need to recycle household waste effectively.

Much of the information that the Helpline provides may also be found online at www.recycleforcumbria.org.

The Helpline also manages the issue of Household Waste Recycling Centre permits to members of the public who wish to access the sites in vans or with long trailers.  For more information on the HWRC Permit Scheme, click here.
